Yu Jihui: “A Stinking Old Ninth – A Tale of the Coal Capital” (updated on July 2020)
“If you can prove it, I’ll kill myself on the spot!”
I said resolutely. At this point, for a minute, the
meeting room became as silent as a grave. But Bear
laughed and went to me with a piece of paper.
He pointed at signature on the piece of paper and
said triumphantly, “Do you know the old man?”
I took a glance at it and laughed, “You must
have made a great mistake! I don’t know the man at
all. I have nothing to do with him! You should make
an investigation again! It’s a great joke! Ha…ha…”
Bear’s face went from white to red.
Then I said, “I’ll go to see the leaders of our coal
mine to accuse you of abuse of power. You must
rehabilitate me!” With that, I rushed out of the
meeting room. Bear stood there stock-still in
               consternation.
