daughter. I went to her mother’s home and stayed
there only for two minutes. I carried my baby
daughter in my arms tightly for a while, gave her a
deep kiss and then gave her back to Xi Si. Then I
asked Xi Si which train she would take to Beijing
that night. She said she would take the train at 9 pm.
I went back home and lay on bed with tears in
eyes, realizing that my family was breaking up. At
7pm, I stood up and went to the railway station. I
went to the waiting room. It was full of passengers. I
took a seat on a long chair and fixing my eyes
towards the entrance. About half an hour later, Xi Si
and Glasses came in. Glasses carried my baby
daughter and Xi Si carried a travel bag. They looked
as if they were a real family.
I ran, desperately, back home. I was full of grief
and indignation.
