knew she was going to faint. But the officers didn’t
let her go and kept forcing her to drink. I took a look
at the regimental commander. He watched his
subordinates force Xi Si to drink wine. I immediately
understood why they kept forcing Xi Si to drink.
This was the trick I had experienced. He wanted to
make Xi Si drunk so that he could take the
opportunity and do it with her while she was in a
comatose state. This was a common way for a rude
worker or a peasant to force a girl to marry him. I
