                       When she had wept enough, she said, “I regret


               it... I regret knowing you. You have made me suffer



               far too much. I’ll see you in  half a  year at the


               matrimonial agency!  Don’t forget to get a



               recommendation letter from your school!” And then


               she went away.



                       I stood there with a look of consternation on my


               face.



                       For quite some time I was in low spirits. One late



               evening, I walked back to the dormitory. Since I was


               in bad mood, I often walked between the school and


               the dormitory in order to drive away my cares. When



               I was walking under the bridge where I would walk



               through every day, I heard a girl scream  faintly,


               “Help! Help!”



                       I ran towards the voice to the riverbank and saw,


               on a piece of grass land, a man on top of a girl, trying



               to rape her. The girl was struggling hard to protect
