Piss in One’s Pants

When I was a first-year university student, I had

a lover. She was my classmate. I called her White

Swan because she was of a fair-complexion. In the

spring of 1963, the Education Commission issued a

decree -- love affairs were absolutely banned in

schools. Students who violated the decree would be

punished severely without mercy. If the offender had

overdone it, he or she must be expelled from the

school. To avoid love affairs, the weekend ballroom

dancing party was banned as well.

The dean of our department announced the

decree in the great hall. His stern voice for a long

time had been echoing in my mind.
